Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We live in California and in California we are mandated to have separate trash cans for organic waste/compost, recycle, and trash. Since this is newer in the schools, it is a little difficult for third graders to remember to sort all the different waste. This would be a great way to help my students remember where to put things and also keep it organized. We have three bulky trash cans in our class currently and they are an eyesore as well as take up a lot of space.

These items will help us fulfill the CA mandate while keeping things organized and clean.
