This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are outstanding young women and young men. They have done their best to follow social distancing guidelines for over a year. Our school is located in one of the areas of our city that had the highest positivity rate. My students have endured so much during this pandemic. They are back at school. The transition has not been easy.
My students feel stressed due to the pandemic and need a healthy way to cope with the stress.
Personal appearance is important for teens. Let's help them to feel good about themselves so they can actively engage in learning.
My Project
My students are thrilled to be back at school. However, they continue to worry about the health of their parents, grandparents, siblings, and loved ones. My students help at home by doing chores such as laundry, cleaning their homes, and taking care of their younger siblings.
The laundry detergent will help my students to keep their clothes clean.
Cleaning supplies help to prevent the virus from spreading. Clean clothes help my students to look sharp, cool and feel confident.
Help me provide my students with the resources to do laundry to look sharp and stay safe and healthy this winter.
