Help me give my students winter jackets for the cold days we have ahead. These would be extremely nice for the students when waiting in the cold air for the bus in the morning!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are faced with many challenges inside and outside the classroom due to their socioeconomic status. Our school is a Title I school where all of our students receive free or reduced-price meals. The majority of my students are also faced with the challenge of learning English as their second language. Despite the many challenges that my students face, they are capable of so much and I know they can be successful.
My goal is to create an environment for my students that is inviting, engaging, and meaningful.
My classroom is a safe place where learning is fun but adds meaning to their lives. Thanks to your donations I will continue to be able to do whatever I can to help my students succeed and move on to be successful members of society.
My Project
Starting off the morning with warmth would make a lifetime of difference to a young child! Many of the students I work with do not have jackets, socks, or much of anything to keep them warm during the winter. This project is to support those students and give them something they can call there own to keep them warm and healthier! These materials would make a huge difference for my students.
These winter jackets and hats would help to keep my students warm when waiting for that bus, that is normally running late.
My goal is to work together to help these students start off the morning with warmth and love as they come into the school building. Students do not care what you are teaching, until they know you care about them!
