My Project

I was recently placed in a 6:1:1 self contained classroom teaching students with severe autism. Their needs are different from what I had been teaching for the past 8 yrs. Their needs are specific as are the materials I need to teach them.

I need a printer and paper in my classroom to easily produce visuals to support their learning.

These visuals benefit them by supporting written and verbal language. A lesson plan that is in place is social exchanges. Students have written scripts in order to initiate social engagement.
