This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, enthusiastic, and capable learners. About half of them are entering my classroom one year or more below grade level in reading. My goal is that all my students leave my classroom as proficient and lifelong readers!

The UFLI Foundations Teacher Manual gives teachers an explicit and systematic phonics program that introduces students to the foundational reading skills necessary for proficient reading.

UFLI Foundations is designed to be used for core instruction in the primary grades or for intervention with struggling students in any grade. This manual is a critically important component that is currently missing for my students. We'll connect the lessons with fun phonics manipulatives to make the learning stick. We would be so grateful if you would consider donating to this learning project. Thank you.
