Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with an incredibly passionate and talented group of students at a performing arts high school. Many of them balance rigorous academic expectations with demanding rehearsals, performances, and extracurricular responsibilities. As a recreational leader, I support students not just by heling coordinate events and performances, but by providing academic monitoring and mentorship. My students are dedicated, creative, and ambitious - They constantly inspire me with their drive to succeed both on stage and in the classroom.
This project will provide a laptop that allows me to better support their unique needs.
Whether it's organizing performances schedules, tracking grades, submitting important forms, or helping the Latin Band prepare for a show, reliable technology will make these tasks smoother and more efficient. By streamlining communication and access to information, this laptop will help me ensure that no student falls through the cracks. My students deserve every opportunity to thrive-and this tool will help me be even more present, organized, and responsive to them.
