This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Handwriting has been put on the back burner in many schools. Our students need help. Our students have learned bad habits when printing their letters. Because of this, many students do not like to write. If we could purchase templates of upper case and lower case letters showing how to form the letters properly, our students would be able to undo bad habits and be able to learn the proper formation of the letters. Thus, making the writing process less difficult and allowing our students to enjoy the writing process rather than run away from it. Also, doing the writing process manually makes a better connection to our brains, which is very helpful for students who need more kinesthetic learning, and also helps with reading.
