Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Taking care of our planet should not be celebrated on just one day a year. Our students can find small ways to help our planet every day. In this project students will have an opportunity to learn about different environments and how everyday people (like themselves) can make a big impact on our environment's future. This project will help me teach this important topic to my students now and for their future.
The new books will help me teach my students the importance of taking care of our planet Earth and each other.
Additionally, the rug provided through the funding will serve as a versatile asset in the classroom. Students can use it as a comfortable and inviting space to sit and enjoy their books, promoting a relaxed and engaging reading environment. The different seating options offered by the rug will cater to various learning preferences, ensuring that each student can find a spot that suits their needs while learning about the fascinating world of climate and environmental studies.
