Our school believes in the concept that we are one big FAMILY. Even though our students come from varying social and economic backgrounds, we consider them all our children. We are lucky that we are a K-8 school. We cultivate them early in kindergarten and throughout the years we provide them with the necessary skills for high school, college, and their future.
This is our time to give back to the community that has supported us.
As of March, my students have been learning at home and now schools will be closed due to the COVID-19 virus for the rest of the school year. We would like to help out hospital workers.
My Project
Help me give my students an ELEGOO SLA 3D Printer with accessories. Students will design 3D printed objects using an online CAD program. They will design products that we can quickly design, modify and print to help our health care professionals.
We will 3D print ear relief straps and other objects for hospital employees.
Giving these workers any amount of relief, comfort and morale support would be extremely rewarding. Just letting them know, that we are here for them and that we are proud of their sacrifices and the risks they take. This is the time for my students to be creative and to give back.
