My Project
Help us give the newcomers in the community classroom supplies that can be used to maintain their personal health and hygiene needs. Daily instruction for my class includes lessons and activities about daily living skills.
My goal is to educate our newcomers about caring for their personal needs and create a supportive environment where students can be comfortable and have access to products that keep them clean.
Gloves are needed to ensure the safety of teachers while assisting with the cleaning of personal items in the event there are bathroom-related accidents. Flushable wipes, sanitary napkins, deodorant, and travel-sized toiletries are needed for students' personal bathroom care. Laundry detergent is needed to wash soiled clothing and sensory garments throughout the day. (A washer and dryer is located within the classroom.) Sanitizing wipes will be used to keep our tables, chairs, and other hard surfaces in the classroom clean.
