This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
DonorsChoose has been an amazing blessing to me and my students. We have been able to get so many things donated and make the learning experience a positive one. In addition, I love to make the classroom as inviting as possible and that often involves having to carry things that are heavy. Needless to say the students often help carry heavy items to make our room come alive throughout the school year, in our classroom and throughout the building. In addition, every end of the school year we are asked to completely remove everything from our walls and classrooms and ship it back home...which our students are always ready and willing to help accomplish As you can imagine this task is a huge one. It is for this reason that I am seeking help with funding a Dolly...it would help our department get things to and from places more efficiently.
