This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kids come in all shapes and sizes, at different stages of development and different sets of skills. Some of our neurodivergent kids require unique tools to be successful. Things that may come naturally to some are harder for others. Sitting in a typical chair is hard for many students. Stools help them balance and build core muscles, help keep the student alert, and get some movement in when sitting is difficult.

Holding a pencil in little hands that don't have strong muscles can be difficult!

These are the best pencil grips I've found that help with proper hand placement and really train the kids to write correctly. Along with stools, and chair bands, these kids will be comfortable and are sure to succeed with academics!
