This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pre-K center manipulatives! Those are essential tools for early childhood education. Here are some examples of how you might use them in a Pre-K classroom:

Letter Tiles: These tiles can be used for literacy activities such as building words, identifying letters, and practicing letter-sound correspondence.

Children can manipulate the tiles to spell out their names or simple words they are learning.

Sorting Trays: Provide trays or containers for sorting activities. Children can sort objects by color, shape, size, or other attributes, promoting classification skills and critical thinking.

Miniature Animals or Figures: These can be used for imaginative play and storytelling. Children can create scenarios, act out scenes, and develop language skills as they describe what they're doing with the figures.
