Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project includes toys and supplies to create activities that will help children increase their fine motor and visual motor skills. These skills are critical in allowing students to access their education! Included in this project are supplies to create fine motor and visual motor integration activities, such as test tubes and tongs to use when placing beads into the tubes, or toys like Squigz that help by building hand strength for the tiny muscles within the hand.

As a school based occupational therapist, my goal is to help children with disabilities access their education, through improving how they use their hands!

I try to find fun and exciting ways to help my students improve these vital skills. Thank you for reviewing this project, and know that any help is greatly appreciated!
