My Students
Our students are so full of spirit and excitement about learning. We have students from a wide range of social and economic backgrounds, but one thing that keeps them bound together is the thirst for knowledge.
I know that our kids are going to change the world!
With every lesson we teach each day, we hold this idea above all others. We need to find ways to inspire and encourage our students in even the hardest situations by exposing them to new ideas and concepts that will help shape and teach them the skills and information they will need as they grow.
My Project
The ETA Hand2Mind Fluency Kits are such an amazing resource. These kits will help all of our learners be able to analyze, explore, and apply the mathematical concepts needed to fully master the concept of numeric expressions and relationships with numbers.
Our students are eager to learn with hands on applications.
This resource would allow us the opportunity to introduce our students to learning in this format. Each kit comes with daily instruction for the teacher, anchor charts, number strings, math talks, and other resources that we would be able to use from the first day they arrive. We are excited for the possibility to get to implement this kit in each of our grade levels and cannot wait to see our students grow.
