My Project

Hand2Mind's guided phonics and beyond will help bridge the gap for my students who are already struggling with the reading process. The lessons will give my students a systematic approach to learning how sounds and letters work together to make words. This project will be used during my small group instruction where students will be explicitly taught skills through guided practice.

My goals are to help my students read at grade level.

My students' home life hinders their ability to obtain extra help because most of their parents have not learned to read English yet.

My students are so eager and excited to learn. They love it when they have mastered a new skill to help them decode words.
