This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These cute, flexible seat cushions will make the library more welcoming and more comfortable during read-alouds. Right now, during read-alouds, all the students have to sit on the carpet while a few students get "special" seating in bean bags or wobble chairs. These floor cushions will make every seat in the library feel special for students.

The goals for this project are to help students feel excited to go to the library and to feel comfortable and welcomed when they are there.

The students love to come to the library and check out books and listen to read-alouds. I want to keep this culture alive and strong!
