"High school Student Nursing Assistants; preparing to show off their skills in the real world." This is an Health Occupations Pre-Nursing Major for high school seniors.
These high school seniors are motivated to assist the health care arena by learning skills that assist those in medical need in the community.
These senior high school students are motivated to get out in to the work force and show their readiness with taking Blood Pressures, and other vital signs. My students need five Stethoscopes, alcohol pads to prevent spread of microbes between each other and they need disposable scopes to prevent from coming in contact with infectious patients.
Supplies are needed to aid in continued practice which will increase competency levels for students skills. Some supplies available may be warn and outdated. It is imperative to keep up with technology and this every changing society.
Some kids have a difficult time buying materials for lab practice. These are necessary to ensure accuracy measurements for things like listening for the pulse, and blood pressures.
