My Project

Our class is full of diverse students with unique interest and needs, but one thing that they have in common is that they love using computers to complete schoolwork. Many students are unable to bring headphones from home to assist them in learning activities. Some of the programs we use require student to listen to sounds and directions. For example, one program we use regularly reads a word aloud to students and asks them to identify certain sounds within the word to assist with recoding skills. Without headphones students can misunderstand instructions and get easily distracted. Headphones will help enhance these learning programs and help students improve their math and reading skills.
