My Students
My students love to learn! They come to school each day ready to learn new things and prepare themselves for the future. Their school is a Title I school, and they do not always receive the necessary items to help them succeed. They are already grateful for what we have now!
I want my students to have the necessary items to be successful in school.
We want to have a year where we are able to use as many resources as possible to boost our reading levels!
Our classroom would really benefit from this opportunity, and I know it will inspire them to do well this school year!
My Project
My students were lucky to receive Chromebooks to use in the classroom. They were given headphones by the school in the beginning of the year, but at this point in the school year there are very few left due to wear and tear. We currently have 5 sets of working headphones between 30 students (60 students total between both classes!).
I want my students to have sturdy, reliable headphones.
It is hard for them to concentrate on their work if they can hear someone's intervention program at the next table over. These headphones will definitely help our students focus more on their interventions in order to achieve success in second grade!
