My students need headphones to help each of them to focus when 31 other students are working alongside them in the computer lab. These 32 headphones will be used by all 500+ students in our school!

My Students

We are in the borough of Queens in New York City, and our students have a love of learning and exploring!

I teach a technology class with students from Pre-K to 5th grade in a very ethnically, linguistically, and culturally diverse school.

All 500+ students research, create, code and learn in our computer lab. Most classes come to the lab once a week, and they all need headphones to help them focus and reduce distraction.

My Project

With a set of Koss UR20 headphones for each computer in our lab, students will be able to concentrate on their own projects and coursework with fewer distractions.

Our computer lab is filled with the sounds of creativity - whether it's the chime of a coding puzzle solved, the sound of a video explaining coding concepts, or the voices of students recording narratives for multi-media 'home-movies' that we create with apps like KidPix.

Unfortunately, all of those sounds coming from 32 computers creates cacophony. With our Koss UR20 headphones, we will be able to work in peace, and hear our own computers!
