Help, Where Is the Missing Book That I Need? Part2

Help me give my students less frustrations when reading by helping us complete some of our series that are missing books. Less frustrations will lead to happy readers!

My Project

My students walk into our school library with excitement in their eyes. They can't wait to be able to let their imagination go wild in the library makerspace. You can see students taking apart and putting together computers, designing 3-D models, constructing structures, learning about circuitry, or playing board games. You will also see students curled up in the corner reading a book or asking me for a new book for them to read. It always puts a smile on my face when they come back to me, after reading a book, to tell me how much they loved a book.

I am so excited that school has started back and the library is now open to my students again but every year, we have a few books that were not able to make their way back into the library and this is a big issue when the book is part of a series.

It is really frustrating for a student to get invested into a series, to then find out that the series is incomplete in the library. No one wants to read books one to three in a series and then have to skip to book five because book four is no longer there. A story is not complete without being able to experience it all. This project will provide those missing pieces to my students and will keep them reading!

The willow vine lights will help create an even more inviting space for the library and the blind will help provide privacy for students when they are in the library conference room.
