My Students
Our students come from the inner city. They are good children and they are eager to learn. Many students come from challenging backgrounds and they depend on school to be a safe and important part of their day. Our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Our students are in serious need of many school related items.
The students are kind and compassionate. They work and play well together. Most importantly they believe in community and they love school. New supplies will help them on their way.
My Project
Each student will receive a new winter hat and a new pair of winter gloves.
We need winter hats and winter gloves!
It gets very cold during the winter months in Philadelphia. Some of our students come to school unprepared for the elements and have exposed heads and hands. The gift of winter hats and gloves will bring the biggest smiles to the children. They first thing they will say is that they know they will be warm.
Winter hats and gloves are a very thoughtful and useful gift. It is one that I can not provide without the help of kind and generous donors.
