My Students

My students come to class ready to learn each day. They are excited about school and love to find places throughout the room to read and do other assignments. I have a big class that loves different, engaging materials that can be used in the classroom each day. My students love to read and work on challenging math problems. I want to continue to provide the resources that are needed to push my students to be the best that they can be.

My Project

My students love to read each day in class. I try to introduce new books through reading instruction, read aloud, in our small groups and in our book clubs. When my students get a new book, they get excited to read and are asking me if they can read ahead in the books. The problem we have is that most of the book sets I can get at my school do not have enough books for each student in our reading groups. I would love to get additional books that my students can enjoy in their reading groups each day at school.
