As our classroom continues its literacy journey, my students are finding that our collection of books is limited, and after years of enjoyment, many are falling apart and are in need of replacement. Please help us refill our classroom library with some great titles!
Our third grade class is filled with curious learners who have a variety of interests.
As literacy remains a high priority in our district, the need for books is growing each year. We want our students to have access to as many titles as possible and for them to be at hands reach. Filling our classrooms with great titles allows students the ability to continue their journey as lifelong readers!
The Reader's Workshop model suggests students be able to have at least 10 titles of assorted genres in individual reading bins to allow for deep learning of the titles they encounter. Our class is requesting these bins as well as an assortment of non-fiction books ranging in guided reading levels to help bridge the gap from what we already have in the classroom.
Your donation will help many students by allowing them to fall in love with reading!
The variety of titles will help them find topics they think are interesting and who knows, even set them on a path for a future career in something great! Thank you for your support!
