My Students
Have you ever had a feeling that you truly belong? That is the feeling I want all of my students to become overwhelmed with while they are with me. I see every student, in every grade, in a one week rotation. My passion for teaching and love for my students allows this sensation to take place.
My students are hungry for knowledge, food, supplies, and love.
We serve over 500+ students in the highest poverty section of North Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are a Title I school. I try to supply as much as I can for my students. Please Help!
My Project
Help! We have the sources of inspiration but not the materials and supplies needed. Without cyan and yellow color ink for our printer, students artwork is swirling in the void of space.
As a teacher in a Title I school, I am used to funding coming in one year and leaving the next.
I am fortunate to have a computer and printer in my classroom but not enough ink for my digital art students to print. Unfortunately, printers and color ink are not a priority when funding is cut. We need cyan and yellow ink to help bring their art alive in the classroom!
My students are creating beautifully creative digital art but do not have the technology supplies needed to bring their creations to life. Please help us by bringing 2 colors of ink into the classroom.
