My students need felt board pieces for their favorite stories for story time. My students also need an iPad mini and case to follow along with the books we are reading.

My Students
My students are young and eager for reading but need more supplies in order to help them achieve their best. I am currently working with children who are 5 years old and have a diagnosis of autism.
I am currently teaching children who are young but full of life and eager to experience new things.
My school works with children with autism ranging from PreK to high school. Each class is so different and each students needs are different, therefore it can sometimes be difficult to get the supplies needed.
My Project
These resources would benefit my students greatly. They love to listen to new stories but it can be hard for them to keep focused during a read aloud. With the help of the felt board pieces, my students can follow along with a visual of the story and manipulate the characters and settings themselves. It allows them to become part of the story and will keep their attention. The iPad will help benefit my students who need more of an animated version of the books. They can follow along with a reading of the book on the iPad while also working with the whole class.
These donations will impact my students lives by making reading fun and interactive in a way that suites them.
My students are still so young and needs hands on materials in order to comprehend a story. With the help of the felt boards and iPad, my students can reach their goals.
