Help me give my students warmth this winter; I have students that need coats and gloves.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students in my class are mostly ESOL certified. I serve as a homeroom and EIP teacher for my students. I try to come up with creative ways to teach them. I am challenged daily by creating lessons with differentiation to help my students master new concepts. Although this job is indeed challenging, my work is very rewarding. My students are eager learners and they love to explore new ideas and lessons.
In addition to my students ESOL background, they also come from a low socioeconomic community.
My school is a true Title One school. My students often come to school without basic needs and supplies. I try to provide as much as I can from my own pockets as well as available resources from my school and community. My students and I will appreciate anything that is given to us and we will definitely use it in our classroom.
My Project
I have several students in need of coats and gloves. My school has worked hard to get donations for our students this winter. We were able to give out many coats and gloves. Unfortunately, we had more students in need than the amount of items that were donated.
Several of my students did not receive a coat or gloves.
As the weather grows colder, those students are in danger of becoming ill. I am very concerned about my students' health. I am also concerned that due to illness from a lack of clothing, they can miss days away from school. My students are not only educated here, but they are also given food that some really need. We would greatly appreciate any donations toward this project. Thank you in advance!
