Help! Veteran Teacher Needs to Be Updated!

Help me give my students a comfy second grade year! I would like to get more organized and update my teaching style to fit students' needs in 2025 and not be outdated and unorganized for my students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

1. Vending machine- I would like to use this for my positive behavior reinforcement instead of my treasure box. Students earn punches on their punch card, then once they have earned 10 punches they get to use the Vending Machine for a special surprise!

2.- capsule vending machine-These would hold the toys for the machine to reinforce positive behavior.

3. Erasable Gel Pens- I try to stay organized using technology, but I need these pens to write and color code things in a planner to stay organized in my classroom in a physical book.

4. Teacher Planner- I stay better organized with a paper, pencil planner. It works for me better when used along with technology.

5. Seating Rug- My carpet is not being replaced this year. My students have torn a hole in it and it keeps getting bigger. The district will not buy me a rug.

6. STEM BINS- I still use morning worksheets. I would like to move away from them and start doing Morning Bins for morning work so students are more engaged upon arrival. This gets their minds working better than a packet of worksheets.

7. Standing laptop Desk Mobile- I find myself sitting a lot more since everything is digital. I would like this desk to be able to walk around my classroom and engage with my students while sharing the camera with them.

8. Headphones- In a Title I district many students never have headphones. We use Chromebooks every day and students need them many times every day for things like listening to stories or directions for tests.

I love working with children, and have for 14 years! Your donation will help me work more closely with students in my classroom.
