This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our little 3K learners are curious, enthusiastic and motivated when presented with new tools to explore. With a tabletop light panel, children will be able to further explore and engage with their sense of sight. Moreover, it will beneficial for children to utilize the magna-tile letter tiles alongside the light table as it will be an engaging way for our little ones to be exposed to literacy. A light panel is very versatile and could also be used to incorporate building, math (patterns, numbers, sorting) and even emergent writing skills.
The science viewers will also be another way in which children can explore their sense of sight, as they will be able to view pictures of various animals found in the world.
It is also an engaging way for children to be exposed to science and it will be help initiate conversations about what children are seeing.
