My Students
Fourth grade is a huge year for kids to grow and explore the world. My students are extremely curious and kind humans who love to learn about others and the world. They love to use hands-on materials to understand difficult concepts and to problem solve. Within my classroom, we have over a dozen languages and cultures represented. Our classroom diversity provides an amazing environment for us all to learn from each other every day. As a community, we strive to think critically and treat one another with respect and kindness! It is essential that we have the community materials we need to learn and grow together.
My Project
My students are extremely curious about the world and they want to understand what is happening with the climate, including what they hear about on the news, and in books.
Students are our future and they need the knowledge to protect the planet and fight climate change!
We read about climate change but we need hands-on experiments and activities to understand the real impact of climate change on our planet. It is essential that my students understand what is happening to our earth and learn about possible solutions for their future.
The science kits will help us understand what we are reading about and give us concrete models to support our learning. The alternative energies science kits will support our understanding of energy solutions that they read and hear about.
