Help Us Transform Our Education Through Organization
My students need a variety of supplies to help develop the organizational skills they need to take charge of their education.

My Students
Completing homework on a daily basis is almost impossible when you can't keep track of assignments and your backpack is filled with loose, crumpled papers. Unfortunately, this scenario is all too common in my school. My fourth graders need your help to learn critical organization skills!
My fourth grade students are amazing.
Despite the fact that nearly all of them come from economically disadvantaged families and 95 percent receive free or reduced cost lunches, they are passionate learners who are striving to become College Scholars.
Two years ago, our school received the lowest grade in the state - an F. But last year, with lots of hard work, we moved up to a D. We are still in the lowest 5% in the state, but this doesn't deter my students. They are insistent upon success and will stop at nothing to reach their goals.
My Project
Despite these lofty goals, my students have one huge obstacle keeping them from success: ORGANIZATION. In the fourth grade, most of my students have never used a planner and many only have a single folder for all subjects. As a result, homework is often lost or forgotten and backpacks are a mess of crumpled papers.
Our goal this year is to change that once and for all! With the resources in this project, my students will be able to learn organizational skills that will impact them far beyond the walls of my classroom. They will learn how to record homework in a planner and how to organize homework and class papers so that they are turned in on time. These are transformational skills that will empower them to take charge of their own learning both now and in the future.
Although organizational skills might seem simple, these are skills that are holding my students back from acquiring an excellent education.
Please help us by donating to this project. Your donation and the transformational life skills my students will gain will truly put them on the path to becoming College Scholars.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
