Help us become College Scholars! I am a fourth grade teacher in Miami, Florida. I teach writing to 50 students in a high-need, high-poverty community. More than 95% of students at my school qualify for free and reduced lunches. Two years ago, less than 50 percent of students at my school passed the fourth grade state writing exam. Last year, in my first year as a teacher, my students turned the tables. After months of hard work and endless writing assignments, 98% of my College Scholars passed the state writing test! Incredible! Now, it's the beginning of a new year and a new set of College Scholars are ready to repeat and improve upon that success. Please help us as we prepare for an amazing year!
