My Students

My class is group of students who are driven to become leaders in their community. They come to school with a fire in their bellies to learn. My diverse class means that I have many different learning styles in my room. My school is located in an area where not all of my student leaders have the means to enhance their learning at home. They are very driven to want to do well and learn new things.

One of the my goals is to give my students a safe environment to learn in.

I want my students to be able to come to school worry-free and confident that their learning space is a safe space.

I want to be able to give the scholars the experience that they deserve to have. I want to create an environment that is nurturing, engaging, and most importantly, SAFE!

My Project

These are unprecedented times; never did I think I would have to worry about keeping my classroom germ-free! I am asking for some supplies to help me keep my students as safe and healthy as possible while they are in my classroom.

An air purifier will help make sure that the air in our classroom is being continuously cleaned.

I am asking for a UV wand so that I can sanitize my students materials as need be. The fact that it is portable will be extremely helpful!

Lastly, I know not all my students will remember their masks on a daily basis. I would like to be able to provide them that protection as needed. All these items will help make me feel as though my classroom is the safest place to be for my students and myself.
