My Students
We have a band program of 50 students. We need quality sturdy stands so that our students can see their music!
Our students are hard-working and super caring.
They love and need music. It is very expensive to maintain a quality music program but we have a very supportive faculty, administration, and community. Many of our students come early in the morning and stay late after-school to rehearse. Many practice their band instrument before they even eat breakfast.
My Project
My students need music stands! Our students work so hard to learn how to read their band music. They deserve stands that hold their music steady even when performing outside. We will use these stands to see our music. It sounds simple, but over time stands break down. When they do, it can be terribly frustrating for a young musician. Sometimes their music will fall to the floor, or they will have to share a stand with multiple people.
This project will help maintain our music program by making sure that we have enough stands for every child!
They will be thrilled to see new stands in their school and it will help create an atmosphere that gets them excited about learning.
