My Project

Our school was fortunate to receive a bunny generously donated by a licensed mental health professional in our community, with the hope that she would become an integral part of our counseling and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practices. Since joining our school community, she has made a remarkable difference in the lives of our students.

How the Bunny Supports Our Students:

De-escalation and Calming:

When students are feeling overwhelmed or dysregulated, spending time with the bunny helps them calm down and return to learning more quickly.

Positive Behavioral Reinforcement:

The bunny offers a unique, non-material reward system that motivates students in a meaningful and sustainable way.

SEL Skill Development:

Through structured interactions with the bunny, students are learning important skills such as responsibility, empathy, and nurturing.

Why We Need Your Help:

To continue providing these valuable experiences, we need support for the bunny’s ongoing care—such as food, bedding, veterinary visits, and enrichment supplies. Your donation will help us maintain this special program and ensure our students continue to benefit from her presence.
