This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how eager, curious, and hardworking my students are. They show up ready to try new things, support one another, and give their best, whether we're in the gym or out on the field. Now, I want to introduce them to something brand new: bowling!

With your help, we’re hoping to add 6 carpet bowling lanes to our PE program.

These portable lanes will allow us to create an engaging bowling unit right in our gym. Students will learn the fundamentals of rolling, aiming, and proper form (like sighting and posting), all while having fun and building confidence.

We’ll also practice setting up lane boundaries and visual targets — skills that mirror what they'd see at a real bowling alley. There’s even a chance we’ll take a field trip to a local bowling center, and this practice will prepare them for that experience.

These bowling lanes will offer every student, no matter their skill level, the chance to succeed, be active, and enjoy learning in a whole new way. Thank you for helping us roll into something great!
