it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm a teacher who believes in creating a classroom that's not just a place for learning but a space that works *with* students, not against them.
This project is for all the little things that make a big difference in our day to day classroom functional items that often get pushed to the bottom of my list because they’re not flashy, but are essential.
Things like a reliable pencil sharpener (ours has had its last day!), basic cleaning supplies to keep our space safe and fresh, glue for projects, and even an extension cord so all my students can actually see the screen when we project a lesson.
These are simple tools, but they make a world of difference in helping our classroom run smoothly, stay clean, and feel welcoming. Having these supplies means fewer disruptions, less time spent solving silly problems (like walking across the room just to plug something in), and more time focused on learning, creating, and collaborating.
What We're Asking For:
* A heavy-duty pencil sharpener
* Extension cord to allow our screen to reach more students
* Disinfectant wipes and scent plug ins
* Glue sticks and tape for student projects
* Desk tag organization supplies
