My Project
My kindergarteners are bright, creative, and full of curiosity. In our classroom, we work hard every day to build strong learning habits, explore math concepts, and grow as responsible learners. To support their success, we need better organization and safer tools that empower students to be independent, responsible, and ready to learn.
We are asking for a set of sturdy drawers to help organize student work by day and subject.
These drawers will be used to sort classwork, center materials, and independent activities in a way that students can easily access and manage throughout the week. This will help us build routines and responsibility while keeping our learning space tidy.
We are also implementing a new math curriculum, and having a place to store and organize manipulatives and lesson materials will make a big difference. With labeled, easy-to-reach drawers, students can grab what they need, stay on task, and build confidence in navigating our classroom.
In addition, we need a reliable pencil sharpener, our current one is on its last legs, and a new set of kid-safe scissors. Many of our scissors are old, dull, or cut hair more than paper (yes, we’ve had a few kindergarten haircuts!). With better tools, we can keep students focused and safe during our hands-on projects.
