Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project, "Organized Minds, Focused Success," aims to support students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) by providing them with essential organizing containers and tools. With your generous contributions, I can create an environment that fosters academic success, boosts self-esteem, and empowers these students to thrive in their educational journey. ADHD can present significant challenges for students, hindering their ability to stay focused, manage time effectively, and maintain a structured learning routine. As a result, many of these bright young minds face difficulties in keeping track of assignments, organizing study materials, and managing classroom materials. Without proper support, their academic performance and self-confidence may suffer. My project aims to equip my classroom with organizing containers and supplies that cater to the unique needs of students with ADHD.

Lunar New Year is one of the world's most vibrant holidays centered around good fortune, lucky foods, and togetherness.

My students will use their new space to explore the Lunar Year and the Chinese New Year. None of my students have been exposed to this celebration before. It will be a great experience to learn about a different culture. With these items, they can understand better and appreciate other traditions.

By providing an organized and clutter-free learning space, we can significantly improve their ability to concentrate, stay on task, and develop essential organizational skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom. The bookshelf, desk, containers, and mini tray tables will help with the organization. Students will have a space of their own. They will also have a clean space by having their fan, air purifier, duster and vacuum cleaner. The carpet, chair, and lamp will create a beautiful and safe space for their learning to happen. Oh, what a great space they will have with your kind donation.
