My Students

I am very excited each year to meet a new group of students! This year is no different, however, my young students have a very difficult time staying organized, which makes life more difficult for them. It also waists precious learning time when the class needs to wait for everyone to dig their books out of their desk.

My students come from very varied backgrounds, including African American, Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian, and Pacific Islander.

Most of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Some come to school with no supplies at all, leaving it to me to supply what is needed.

My Project

Seat Sacks will help us stay organized and will keep our day flowing smoothly. My students are young and helping them develop good organizational skills will give them a better opportunity to focus on the task at hand, instead of looking for things that they need in a messy desk. Students will have their books at their fingertips.

By donating to this project you are helping my students become more organized, which is one of the keys to success!

The students will be ready to work knowing exactly where everything is located and this will take the guesswork out of where and how to find things. Giving the students the ability to feel good about themselves knowing where to find things, especially those students with special needs that have trouble with organizational skills.

I also believe that all students are capable of learning if given the opportunity to learn through different methods of teaching. No two people learn the same way, so by providing students the opportunity to succeed, through various methods of teaching, I give them the chance to reach their full potential.
