This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will use the bookshelves to store the student workbooks that come with our adopted language arts and math programs. Both programs come with a student workbook for each of the many units. I have switched from traditional desks with tables that allow for collaboration. Although, this has enhanced student learning and engagement, it has created a need for more storage.
Rotating bookshelves will allow for more storage space, while keeping the room uncluttered.
It is important that the room remains uncluttered because my students learn best when they can move around the room throughout the day.
