Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We've taken the first step in establishing a soccer team at our school, and the enthusiasm among our students is absolutely contagious. However, as we embark on this journey, we've encountered a crucial challenge that requires some support.

While we're fortunate to have access to a small field, one essential resource is sorely lacking: access to clean drinking water.

There are no fountains at our field. It's imperative that every child participating in our team stays hydrated throughout their training sessions and matches, but without water fountains available nearby, this becomes a significant hurdle.

That's where your generosity comes in. We've launched this DonorsChoose project with the aim of ensuring that every child has the necessary materials to participate safely, regardless of their family's income. By providing access to hydration, via a high quality reusable water bottle, we not only safeguard the health and well-being of our young athletes but also foster an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Your contribution will directly impact the lives of these aspiring athletes, enabling them to pursue their passion for soccer with the peace of mind that their basic needs are met. Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of our students.
