My Students

My students are a wonderful group of six students with autism between the ages of 5-8. My students are all very sweet and eager to learn! The majority of my students come from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.

The students in my class are amazing!

My students learn best through a variety of modalities - visual, tactile, kinesthetic, and auditory. They show their enthusiasm by actively engaging in activities, as well as through smiling and laughing with enjoyment. My students are learning many functional life skills. The majority of my students are non-verbal. We work hard on facilitating communication skills through modeling, as well as through the use of picture symbols and communication devices. In addition, my students strive to improve their academic skills. They love reading, math, science, social studies, social/emotional learning, art, health, music, and movement. Having a well-rounded education is so important!

I love that my students are willing to try new activities and give it their all! My students inspire me every day! They are here to succeed! My students are winners!

My Project

Our students need to stay healthy and feel safe in order to learn. Hand sanitizer would help us keep our little hands clean, especially when we like to explore the fun, educational toys in the classroom! In addition, cleaning supplies will help us effectively clean our tables and chairs each day. This is important to maintain a healthy environment for our students! Cleaning supplies will keep our students healthy, which means students can stay focused on their learning!

By having these necessary items in our classroom, our students will feel calm and safe while learning!

Our students also need to feel safe when accidents happen. First aid kits will help our students feel better and turn their frowns into smiles!

When in school, our students should not worry about getting sick. With cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, and first aid kits our students will not have to worry! Help us provide a healthy and safe learning environment for our sweet students!
