This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year, our incoming ninth grade students need many supplies to be successful in transitioning to high school. In addition to a major health career research project (similar to a Science Fair), I also open my classroom at break and lunch for students to study, print, participate in peer support and teacher tutoring. All students are welcome and students are free to use any supply they need or print as many documents as they need to. This creates an on-going safe space and academic support resource for all of our students. Help me give my students classroom supplies such as a paper cutter, printing toner cartridges, file folders, glue sticks and other consumables that need to be replenished.
