My student-athletes are the whole package; smart, goal driven, hardworking, and fun! They live in a rural area where the high school is fed from five small rural elementary schools; the farthest over 100 miles away. Some of my student-athletes live in the high school dorm because of this distance. These students know how to work hard and have grown up having responsibility and a love for the community.
My student-athletes are always up for a good challenge and willing to go the extra mile to be successful.
Sports are very important to these young ladies and the community. This is a group of deserving young ladies, and I can’t wait to see what they will do with not only their upcoming season but with their lives. I know they are going to benefit our community and society in a positive way!
My Project
Due to our school being so small, our budget for athletics is very limited. The school does not cover the cost of traveling or staying in a hotel for athletes, managers, or coaches.
We have a great opportunity to compete with some of the top teams in the state at this tournament but it requires us to stay two nights in a hotel.
If you donate to this project, you are helping pay for these deserving student-athletes to compete and improve!
We are really looking forward to traveling to the other side of the state and getting into some tough, competitive games! It is so important to play tough teams if you want to compete at the state level. This tournament will help us do it. Please support us and help keep us off the gym floor, and in a nice, clean bed!
