Help Us Spruce Up the Clothing Closet!

Help me give my students a fun, cozy clothing closet full of everything they'll need to stay comfortable & warm!

My Project

We have worked so hard to transform a utility closet into a clothing closet for our students! We have gathered clothing, shelves, racks and a rug from our local Buy Nothing groups. We have cleaned the floor and scrubbed the walls, but some of the scuffs just won't budge. In order to spruce up this space, we are requesting tapestries! They are an affordable, lightweight option to cover the walls, making the closet feel clean & fresh.

Being that this is a dark utility closet off of our lunch room, we are also requesting rechargeable, motion detector lights.

These can be mounted on the ceiling and walls to brighten up the space, but will turn off when not in use, saving energy.

Lastly, we are requesting decals and mirrors to decorate the doors. Our goal is to make the clothing closet a welcoming resource, available to all students, to ensure that they have the clothing they need to stay warm and comfortable, all year long!
