This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are still young and finding out how to handle their big emotions. They struggle to express themselves in a way that will help others to understand.
These books would help my students understand how to express their feelings and understand how to manage them in a fun way.
Each book is about a different emotion and letting students know that it is okay to feel these feelings. I intend to place these in my calming corner to help those that need to take a breath before joining the class again. These will help with their social emotional health.
