This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Scouring the building for a working printer can be a nightmare at my school! There's no paper! There's no ink! There is a line of ten teachers ahead of me! Printing necessary materials can seem impossible with our pencil predicament.

I am the regular education teacher in a 4th grade ICT classroom.

My students are awesome and so enthusiastic and smart. They have so many different abilities and strengths. With so many different levels in the classroom, differentiation is a must. A working printer is a necessary tool in creating fabulous graphic organizers and other differentiated tools and materials.

My Project

The printer will be used for printing materials for all subjects. In math, I plan on creating math games to challenge high performing students and printing additional re teaching materials for struggling kids. In writing, the printer will create rubrics, checklists, outlines and graphic organizers. Finally, the printer will provide our classroom with differentiated texts in reading, social studies and science.
