My Project
My students are a wonderfully curious and energetic group of learners — and let’s just say, we are very enthusiastic when it comes to using our supplies! Right now, we’re in desperate need of some classroom essentials to help us keep learning, creating, and growing.
Headphones: We use our iPads daily for math games, research, and documenting our learning, but we don’t have enough working headphones for the entire class.
Durable replacements would make a huge difference in helping students focus and succeed.
Watercolor Paints: We just wrapped up our poetry unit, which included painting to express our ideas visually. I shared our watercolor paints with my teammates (yay, collaboration!) — but now they’re all used up. We’d love to restock so we can continue creating beautiful, expressive work in future projects.
Movement Tools: My class is full of active, wiggle-friendly kiddos who thrive with movement breaks throughout the day. I’m hoping to add stepping stones to our set of balance boards to give them fun and productive ways to reset and refocus.
Classroom Decor: Our classroom is space-themed, and while our astronauts-in-training are bright and shiny, our decor is… well… looking a little meteor-worn. A few updated pieces would help keep our environment inspiring, fresh, and engaging.
